I'm an absurdly old akuko (悪狐) whom is tired of being automatically taken for a villain simply on account of my species. I have spent much of this life running away from buddhist monks or superstitious human villages for thousands of years, and just want to relax. I come from what used to be Central Yamato (大和), and decided to settle down on the western cliffs of a certain mountain in a certain land, where youkai dwell in abundance and people settle differences with danmaku. After hiding here for so long that my old pursuers decided I wasn't a danger to anyone, I built a nice little world for myself ("Izapa Stela 5") and a humble little house under a really big tree. Funnily enough, the tree connects to different worlds and I found a way to use that connection for accessing the internet, where I heard about the idea of VTubing and thought that it seemed like a good idea to try getting used to modern humans safely. I've never heard of even the smallest of youkai being exorcised over the internet, so I feel like I have very little to worry about, being thousands of years old~Before my streaming setup was ready for operation, though, I happened across a very small, pink cat with unusually tiny legs - I couldn't tell if it was alive or not so I took it home. I intended to either nurse it back to health or at least properly send it off, but returning home from the pharmacy I learned that it was actually a person, named Misty! They stayed with me for a while and we had a few adventures to take care of some things, but now we have a committed relationship and are interested in streaming together! I hope you'll be kind to us both and enjoy watching us~!My plan for streaming is to just do things I already enjoy doing - this usually means games that don't take a lot of energy or excess of concentration to play, but will sometimes mean that I open the channel just to chat with friendly humans every once in a while. What you can expect this to look like may vary, and you can peek at my Game List page for specific details, but in general I like space games, shmups, survival-y games, crafting games, and an occasional RPG. Collabs are possible, and I am part of a couple groups and communities for VTubers, but because I have such a low social battery it feels likely that collabs with new faces will be on the rare side - I'll collab with Misty more than anyone else, and beyond them it'll be with people whom I've known quite a while or already have a good friendship with.

My form as an akuko or nogitsune is actually my fourth incarnation, and one that has lasted about 1,520 years - aside from the time I lived as a human, each of my lives have been extremely long and stressful, so I'm hoping that I can take my time with streaming and just relax to enjoy things at my own pace.I was born in a forest during satsuki-bare (五月晴れ) in the season of rice-planting, on the year of five hundred and two, with a mother and five other siblings who earned no names and survived not a season due to drought and famine. I consider my birthday to be the 14th of May.I began my life only understanding myself to be male, but eventually learned that I was more comfortable when my gender appeared to be more feminine or distinctly unclear to onlookers - conversation came more freely, interactions were based less on my plumbing and more on respect, and while it earned me more wary stares and confused tones from people, it was comfortable. In today's terms, I have learned that this means I identify as nonbinary, and that it is best if I declare my preferred pronouns, though I don't mind what pronouns are used in reference to me - I would rather you be comfortable, so if you need to view me as male to be most comfortable with me, masculine pronouns are fine, and vice-versa.Fun fact about me: My fur and hair actually used to be black! Because of the demonic, malevolent nature of my species being one that craves a sort of oily, jet-coloured ichor out of negative emotions such as fear, terror, and despairing; and feeds on this ichor by manifesting it through committing deeds like destroying villages and sowing death to humans, my species' fur colour is normally dyed with corruption and evil, leading my kind to normally have an appearance not unlike a malicious wildfire made out of shadow itself. If not for the fact that my incarnation as this being is actually a mistake, I too would be a creature of death and destruction - I consider myself quite fortunate to bear the soul and memories of my antecedent incarnations. It turns out, however, that refusing nutrients your body needs is bad for your health, so choosing to not do the things that nourish this body of mine has had adverse effects, not the least of which is my hair and fur gradually fading from black and red, to grey and pink, and finally to this stark alabaster you see now. It took most of my life to learn about this condition, but despite the fact that it means I am severely weakened, I have no intention to change my ways anytime soon - I guess you could perhaps say that death and destruction just aren't my thing after all.
